April, 2006	Our Buffalo showroom, Knot by Knot, will be hosting a special event from Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday April 8th. Stop by and join us for refreshments and a demonstration on dyeing and spinning, followed by a question and answer period conducted by Tom Paddock.
August, 2005	The close-out rug section at our 1376 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo location is now open for business. Stop by and see our large selection of quality rugs at bargain prices.
February, 2003	We have made a small but important change to the process of browsing our inventory. You are now invited to supply your zip code as part of the login process. We are now using zip code information to optimize the retrieval and display of our inventory for your area. Your zip code is not required, but you will not be able to view our entire inventory if you choose not to supply it. Knot by Knot has also placed an advertisement in the Buffalo Decorator Showhouse brocure this month.
January, 2003	This month, we've made some changes in in the way that we manage your personal rug list. this month. Now, transactions having to do with your rug list appear in their own window, so that your browsing need not be interrupted by the management of your rug list.
December, 2002	This month's Lake Affect Magazine has the theme 'The Nude Issue.' We've placed an advertisement on the inside cover, consistent with this theme, featuring a beautiful Nargizian Tibetan carpet.
October, 2002	Check out our new full-page advertisement in this years catalog for the High Falls Film Festival.

August, 2002	We've run a very succesful advertisement this month in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle during the holiday weekend. Check it out.
July, 2002	This month we have completely revamped the lighting in our East Avenue showroom. Our new lighting was designed by Gene Henn of Prosperity Lighting Supply, Inc., using Solux track lighting, as well as florescent overhead lights with equivalent color temperatures. Solux lighting accurately reproduces the full spectrum of light contained in natural daylight, and the results are absolutely stunning. Our rugs have never looked better; come and see for yourself at our showroom at 342 East Avenue in Rochester, New York.
June, 2002	We've upgraded our search capabilities this month, with a newly redesigned central search page, and new searches based upon rug content and design criteria. You can now search for flatweave carpets, for example, or for specific design styles.
May, 2002	May 20: As part of the Deer on Parade effort, we are pleased to announce the arrival of "Yes Deer" at the Eastview Mall, standing just in front of the Bombay Trading Co. Our deer was painted and prepared by Bob and Madeline Whiteside, and features a beautiful display of our Oriental rugs both on site and in electronic form on a stunning overhead monitor. May 1: We're also pleased to report that the speed issues associated with our site have been resolved. We've installed a new, much faster Internet connection, re-optimized our images, and the overall responsiveness of the site is now much improved.
April, 2002	We are currently experiencing some difficulties with the responsiveness of our web site, and are working diligently to fix the problem. Please bear with us during this time; images will load, but more slowly than normal. We will post updates here as progress is made.
March, 2002	Thomas R. Paddock launches a redesigned and upgraded home in cyberspace. The new paddockorientalrugs.com sports an enhanced visual design, a comprehensive online inventory, and improved flexibility for searching, studying, and purchasing the world's finest Oriental rugs.
February, 2002	Thomas R. Paddock launches a new audio advertising campaign on several local radio stations in the upstate New York area. Listen for our WXXI underwriting spots, and our informative ads on WHAM.
January, 2002	Tom and Reza head to Atlanta, GA to attending the world's largest annual Oriental Rug and textile show. Look for spectacular new inventory to arrive in the wake of their travels.
