Any pile rug that you purchase from us can be returned at any time for a full-price credit toward any future purchase. Rugs must be returned in good condition; we expect to see normal wear and tear, but excessive conditions - cigarette burns, grape juice stains, puppy-chewed corners - that sort of thing - are not considered to be "normal" wear. Under these circumstances, we will assess a fair trade-in value and credit your account accordingly.

Exchange credits are limited to the original purchase price of the rug, minus cleaning and restoration costs (if any), and do not include shipping charges. (Please refer to the Cleaning link at left for more information on our cleaning services). In our experience, most Oriental rugs exchanged within a period of five years do not require repair.

Please note that our exchange policy is limited to pile carpets. Flatweave carpets such as Killims and Soumaks will, like any good pile carpet, endure for generations if properly cared for, and we are pleased to offer many outstanding and beautiful flatwoven carpets as part of our extensive Oriental rug inventory. Flatweaves are somewhat less resilient to normal wear and tear than are pile carpets, however, and we have found the aftermarket for these pieces to be much more limited as a result. This fact is reflected accordingly in our exchange policy.
